This project embodies the concept of the Hachinohe Art Museum as an "art farm for encounters and learning."
Through exhibitions, projects, and communication, encounters and learning gained by visitors serve as nourishment, fostering their sensibilities and creativity. The museum becomes the field (farm) for this purpose, contributing to the creation of the town's future.
In the symbolic space of the museum, the "Giant Room," five artists based in Hachinohe will develop projects to be created and enjoyed together with visitors.
Visitors can appreciate artworks, create art, participate in gatherings, and interact with the artists staying in the Giant Room. Projects in various genres such as painting, printmaking, photography, and dance will unfold daily.
The ever-changing nature of the Giant Room, evolving with each visitor, resembles a "field" where its use is determined by those who visit. It serves as both a "field" and a "farm," offering various artwork, activities, and encounters with artists.
